As far back as he can remember, Jim Wilson has had a fascination with and a desire to make music. He has spent his life pursuing that dream from his beginnings in Lovington, New Mexico through the last ten years he's spent in Tennessee.    As the youngest member of numerous popular bands in Austin, Texas, Wilson played with Doc Hamilton and Danny Barnes. During the Memphis filming of The Firm, the star of the film was quoted in print as saying that the singing team of (Jim) Wilson (Steve) Reid was "Tom Cruise's favorite act".
